Al Baghdadiyah tow truck
Satha Alam is a tow truck Al Baghdadiyah residents can call in one of Jeddah’s oldest districts outside the old city wall. Al Baghdadiyah was once known as the district of notables because many prominent families lived there. Today it has two parts: Al Baghdadiyah Al Gharbiyah (west), close to the Corniche and Historic Jeddah (Al Balad), and Al Baghdadiyah Al Sharqiyah (east), stretching towards King Khalid Street. It sits between King Abdullah Road to the north and Historic Jeddah to the south, close to Jeddah Islamic Port.
An old district means narrow inner lanes and tightly packed houses, along with heavy visitor traffic heading to Al Balad, the Central Fish Market and the Corniche. A broken-down car here may be in a lane the flatbed cannot enter, in crowded parking near Al Balad, or on the port bridge where stopping is dangerous. We ask for the exact spot and prepare the winch before we set off. Many Al Balad visitors drive in from distant districts or from outside Jeddah, so if a visitor’s car fails we take it to a workshop or their accommodation inside Jeddah, and explain each step clearly because they often do not know the area.
Our towing service in Al Baghdadiyah runs day and night. Call or WhatsApp 058 056 4950 with your location, car type, destination and condition, and we give you a clear price before we move, with no hidden fees. We serve both the western and eastern parts.

Al Baghdadiyah lies in central Jeddah south of King Abdullah Road, between Al Ruwais and Al Sharafiyah to the north and Historic Jeddah (Al Balad) to the south. The western part is bounded by Madinah Road on the east, crossed by Al Andalus Road, and faces the Corniche service road, home to the Central Fish Market (Al Bunqala). From the market side starts Al Falah Street (the port bridge), Jeddah’s longest bridge, passing Jeddah Islamic Port to Makkah Road. The eastern part extends east of Madinah Road towards King Khalid Street. Many older buildings in the district predate widespread car ownership, so they offer little parking or wide entrances.
Tow requests have many causes here: lanes too narrow for loading, crowds of visitors in the evening and at weekends around Al Balad and the Corniche, light trucks serving the fish market and shops from dawn, and breakdowns on the port bridge where waiting is not an option. Being near the sea also exposes cars to humidity and salt, so batteries and electrical connections wear out faster.
A visitor's car that failed in or around Historic Jeddah parking is lifted and taken to a workshop or their home anywhere in Jeddah.
Light trucks working with the fish market from dawn, up to about 3.5 tons, after boxes are unloaded or secured.
Stopping on Al Falah Street is dangerous. We get there as fast as traffic allows, lift the car and take it off the bridge.
We park on the nearest wide street and winch the car a short way out of the narrow lane, then load it safely.
A rental car that broke down with a visitor goes to the rental company's branch or approved workshop inside Jeddah, as the company instructs.
Al Baghdadiyah is one of the farther districts from our base on Hira Street in Al Marwah. It is about 23 km away, roughly 30–40 minutes depending on traffic. We usually go south on Madinah Road to King Abdullah Road, then into the west or east part depending on your position, or along the Corniche road if you are near the fish market.
Because the district has two parts with similar names, tell us whether you are in the west or east side, and send your live location with the nearest landmark, such as the fish market or one of the Al Balad gates. That saves a lot of time on tangled streets. In the old lanes, tell us whether the entrance allows a large vehicle through.
