Motorcycle transport in Jeddah on a hydraulic flatbed: sport bikes, cruisers, scooters and quad bikes, strapped upright with a wheel chock and soft straps, from home, the beach or a workshop to anywhere inside Jeddah, with a clear price before we move.
Motorcycle transport is not the same as moving a car. A bike stands on two wheels, carries its weight differently and has fragile parts such as mirrors, plastic fairings and brake levers. So at Satha Alam we load it onto our hydraulic flatbed and secure it standing upright, so it arrives exactly as it left.
Whether your bike broke down on the road, you bought one from a seller across town, it needs a service at the dealer, or you are moving house, you can book a motorcycle tow truck at any time. We work 24/7 inside Jeddah and its districts, from Obhur in the north to Al Khumrah in the south.
With over 10 years in Saudi Arabia and more than 19,000 vehicles moved safely, including bikes of every size, we know riders care about every scratch on the tank, and we handle each bike accordingly.

Our flatbed handles loads up to about 3.5 tons, so weight is never an issue for bikes, even the heaviest cruisers. What matters is how each type is secured:
Plastic fairings and low bars. We use frame points away from the plastic and protect contact areas.
Heavy and long, sometimes with panniers. We winch them slowly up the tilted bed instead of pushing by hand.
Light but often with weak stands. The wheel chock and straps hold them, never the stand.
Knobby tyres and long suspension. Straps compress the suspension slightly so the bike stays put.
Four wheels make them easier to secure. We strap all four corners like a small car.
Some are heavy because of the battery. They ride fully on the bed, never pushed or towed on their wheels.
Riders worry most about the bike falling or getting scratched by straps. Our method keeps it upright and steady from start to finish:
The hydraulic bed tilts to a gentle angle so the bike rolls up without scraping its underside.
A running bike can be ridden up slowly; a dead or heavy one is winched while someone holds and balances the bars.
The front wheel sits in a wheel chock that stops it moving sideways.
Straps go on strong frame parts or the lower bars, never mirrors, levers or plastic, with soft loops to protect the paint.
We tighten until the suspension compresses slightly so the bike does not bounce, and recheck after a short distance.

Bikes break down where cars rarely go: beaches, dirt tracks and narrow lanes. Common pickups include:
Some people try a pickup bed or push the bike to the nearest workshop. The safety difference is big, especially with heavy or damaged bikes:
| Item | Hydraulic flatbed | Pickup bed | Riding or pushing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Loading | Low tilted bed with winch | Narrow ramp, lifted by hand | None |
| Heavy bikes | Suitable for the heaviest | Hard, risk of dropping | Exhausting |
| Non-running bike | Winched with no effort | Needs several people | Long push |
| Damaged bike | Carried whole | Awkward and risky | May worsen damage |
| Securing | Wheel chock and bike straps | Whatever straps are around | None |
A dead bike is heavier to push than people expect, and pushing it up a narrow ramp often ends in a drop. We winch it up the tilted bed while one of us balances the bars. It needs to be in neutral, and if the steering is locked we need the key.
If it is damaged, tell us exactly what is wrong: a bent front wheel, broken stand, oil or fuel leak, flat tyre. A bent wheel will not sit in the chock normally, so we add straps on both sides instead.
After an accident, your safety comes first. Call an ambulance if anyone is hurt, report to Najm or the traffic police, then we load the bike and take it to a workshop or home.
Not every bike move is an emergency. Many riders book a day or two ahead for a service appointment or to collect a bike they bought, so they can pick a quieter time and we can prepare the right chock and straps.
The same goes for selling your bike to someone across town, or buying a used bike you do not want to ride before a mechanic checks it. Carrying it on a flatbed avoids surprises such as weak brakes or old tyres.
A few simple steps make loading faster and protect your bike:
Have the key ready so we can unlock the steering and select neutral.
Remove the helmet, small bags, phone mount and anything that could fall off.
Close the fuel tap if there is one and tell us about any leak.
Photograph the bike and point out any scratches, so both sides are clear.
Confirm the drop-off point and who will receive the bike if you are not there.
Call or WhatsApp 058 056 4950 with the bike’s live location, type and rough size, whether it runs, and the destination inside Jeddah. If you have several bikes, tell us how many and what types.
The price depends on distance, bike type and condition, time of request and access such as sand or narrow lanes. We do not publish fixed numbers, but you get a clear final price before we move, with no hidden fees. We work inside Jeddah only, with no intercity trips.
At delivery, check the tyres, mirrors, bars and paint before we leave. Then we unstrap the bike, roll it down gently and park it on its stand where you want it.
